In memory of Mathieu and Andréa Paquet-Garceau
This page is dedicated to Mathieu and Andréa, Jason’s brother and sister. It seeks to preserve their presence in a form that is simple, dignified, and lasting, at the heart of the family story and the birth of Les Éditions J.A.M.
Mathieu and Andréa remain at the heart of their family’s living memory.

Their memory remains
Their memory runs through Jason’s writing, his path, and the very existence of the publishing house. This page exists to keep their names, their faces, and their place within the family’s living memory.
Mathieu and Andréa lost their lives on July 20, 1996, when the family home was swept away in a landslide during the Saguenay flood. This tragedy marked their family forever.
The book, the publishing house, and this page extend the same duty of remembrance, with gentleness, dignity, and truth.
